Louise spent a lot of her childhood trying to fly with her trusty dog, Goldie. When she wasn’t leaping from the top bunk bed with her dog neatly tucked under her arm, she was busy trying to teach her how to talk!
Louise was also addicted to dancing, climbing trees and acting out battle games with her four older brothers in the long grass at the park that backed onto her family home. She liked playing jacks, elastics and making awesome paper planes, as well. Her ultimate dream was to find a secret door or portal into another world, and she was always on the lookout for one.
Today, Louise spends her time battling beasts, flying to Beastium with a dogbot, BC3, whom incidentally CAN talk (funny that), finding those secret doors, portals and hidden tunnels, and pretending she’s the world’s best ballerina! Who knows what she’ll be spending her time doing tomorrow? Louise says the best part about being a children’s book creator and writer is that every day is a new and excitingly grand adventure.
